We test the usability of products and services by asking representative users to complete representative tasks whilst speaking their thoughts out loud. This methodology has been shown to be very effective with identifying frustrating issues and barriers to adoption.
We believe it plays a critical role in developing websites and services and that just one day of usability testing is a day well spent.
Tests are observed and recorded and the data that’s collected is quantitative* and qualitative to inform both the nature and severity of issues. Participants can also be asked more generic questions such as –
- When they’d use a site
- First impressions
- If things makes sense
- How they’d use it
- What they’d like to see changed
We are also experienced with illustrating findings with recording and quotes, and delivering results to both development teams and senior stakeholders.
